VCON is the oldest general-interest science fiction, fantasy, and games convention in Canada and the Pacific Northwest. Donna McMahon started publishing SF with her novel Dance of Knives (Tor 2001) set in future Vancouver. Lately she's turned from future to past history, with her murder mystery Death Fully Justified set in Vancouver in 1920. She lives in Gibsons, BC.
