SESSIONS ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

SEPTEMBER 17, 2016: The schedule is now as "final" as it ever gets! Which means that, yes, there will probably still be changes here and there, but generally only to resolve when we’ve accidentally placed one panelist on two panels at the same time, or if a panelist has to cancel.)

Authors! Want to prove you are a Writing Star at VCON?

COME TO VCON IDOL!

Bring in the first page of a current manuscript (one sheet, double-spaced) and, if you are chosen from the audience, do a rapid-fire reading in front of our panel of expert judges (editors and publishers) and the audience. The judges will then demonstrate how the opening sentences of your submission would be judged if it had shown up in their slush pile.

Then take their feedback - positive or negative - and use it to make your work even better!
