SESSIONS ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

SEPTEMBER 17, 2016: The schedule is now as "final" as it ever gets! Which means that, yes, there will probably still be changes here and there, but generally only to resolve when we’ve accidentally placed one panelist on two panels at the same time, or if a panelist has to cancel.)

Workshop description: Ever wondered how to get started on a costume armour build? Wonder no longer, Loushy of Six AM cosplay is here to walk you through the basics of armour. She'll show you all the steps of building an armour piece, from scouting out resources to actually attaching the armour to your costume. In this workshop, you'll be working with EVA floor matting-- the same type of matting you can buy at any hardware or dollar store. EVA armour building is simple and cost-effective, so come on by if you want to learn how to take your armour skills to the next level.

If possible it would be helpful if participants could bring heat guns, not necessary, but helpful.

Loushy has been casually cosplaying since 2007 but got serious about armour crafting just over a year ago. Since launching headfirst into armour she's made half a dozen sets of armour for herself, her friends, and a few wonderful clients. Get her talking about Mass Effect and strap yourself in for the rest of the night.
