Jason Bourget
Douglas College Instructor
New Westminster
Currently I'm an instructor in the English Department at Douglas College, where I teach courses on science fiction, horror and weird fiction. My research focuses specifically on how political beliefs inform representations of masculinity in late twentieth-century science fiction (especially in the work of Heinlein, Dick and Le Guin). I'm also a horror fan more generally, with a particular interest in the supernatural horror of writers such as H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King and Jeff VanderMeer.
